Opening night at The Hole NYC
The first New York solo show by FriendsWithYou at The Hole (312 Bowery, NYC) opened on June 9th. As delightful as always, the show is titled ” :) ” and is, of course, full of works that are unmistakably FriendsWithYou - from the bright colors to the smiling faces (some of them move!!). I loved seeing their work taylor-made for an indoor space, they use every inch of the gallery in a great way - from the floor to the corners. Of course I’ll have to stop by again when the space is less crowded and sweaty

Rainbow City at the High Line NYC
FriendsWithYou opened a new amazing world of happiness in the form of a forty piece environment installation titled “Rainbow City” here in New York to celebrate Section 2 of the High Line. Their first large scale installation in New York City, the amazing 16,000 square foot playground (encouraging interaction for children and adults alike) will be in Chelsea through the month of June. Amazing food trucks and a bar are also on location.
